My Harbourfront,
My Home

What do I love most about Harbourfront? The answer is simple. It’s the people. The community. The energy. I’ve lived here for 20 years and counting, and it hasn’t gotten old!

The Best of Toronto, At Your Doorstep

Harbourfront is just minutes away from many of Toronto’s top destinations! Head over to The Rogers Centre to catch a Blue Jays game, and pop into The Steam Whistle Brewery on your way. You can also walk or bike over to Ontario Place to take in an outdoor yoga class, or watch your favourite band play at The Molson Amphitheatre. Take the rock star route and get there by water taxi!

Amenities Just Steps Away

Need to grab groceries? No problem! You have Sobeys, Longo’s, and the new Coppa's Fresh Market well within walking distance. Runs to Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall Pharmacy, and the bank can all be done on foot, too. You’ll have no trouble whatsoever getting your daily steps in!

On The Water

On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, colourful sailboats fill the inner harbour for race nights. You can also get a social membership to the Island Yacht Club — even if you don’t own a yacht! It’s the perfect oasis, especially if you have children, since they have a pool and plenty of outdoor space for them to run around. You couldn’t ask for a better backyard!

Ready to get on the water? The Harbourfront Powerboat and Sailing Club membership program is your key! Rent a boat and enjoy that fresh air. There’s also the Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre or the Mariposa tour boats. The Kajama replica ship has a very interesting history, and you can even assist in hoisting the sails — it’s quite the workout!

Winter Fun

The Harbourfront has just as much to offer in the winter! The lake freezes over, the skies change, and the sunsets and sunrises are even more brilliant. The swans pose for photos, and skaters take to the ice both on the lake and at the Natrel skating rink. Believe me, a hot chocolate or cocktail from Boxcar Social sure tastes better after a fun skate there!

I also recommend grabbing a coffee, heading over to the historic Queen's Quay Terminal, going up to the peaceful second level, and taking in the view! The Fleck Theatre is on that same level and is home to all kinds of incredible performances from dancers around the globe. “Caught” by the Danny Parsons Dance Company is a performance I will never forget!
