Welcome to Number One York Quay

The waterfront’s best kept real estate secret!

20 Years of NOYQ Living
That’s right, I’ve lived in this building for 20 years — and counting! I’ve been working in real estate the entire time I’ve lived here, too. Think about it: Of all the properties I’ve seen, nothing I saw could ever convince me to leave. It’s just that good! I first bought my unit in the north tower, lived there for 16 years, then moved over to the south tower once the penthouse unit opened up. And I never plan on leaving — it’s my Castle In The Sky!

The Buildings

Number One York Quay consists of two towers: 77 Harbour Square is the north tower, and 99 Harbour Square is the south tower. The unit layouts in both buildings are essentially the same, but units in 99 Harbour Square are available far less often. No matter which building you choose, you’ll be able to feel the strong sense of community as soon as you walk through the doors!

Location! Location! Location!

You really can’t beat the central Harbourfront location. Step outside and you're 45 seconds away from the covered PATH system, or catch the streetcar that stops right outside of the building. Not to mention the free shuttle bus — yes, free! The shuttle bus — which we share with 33, 55 and 65 Harbour Square — has many downtown routes, Monday through Saturday. There's even a specific bus that loops to Union Station from 7 AM to 9 AM, then back home between 4 PM and 6 PM. Need an Uber? You’re just $10 away from the best of the city! It’s pretty amazing.

Health Club

Our eighth-floor health club is unrivalled. There’s a gym, yoga studio, changing rooms, saunas, and more! There are also two squash courts, one with a basketball net that was gifted to us by a former Toronto Raptor.

Indoor/Outdoor Pool

Have you ever gone swimming in the middle of a snowy night? Our indoor/outdoor pool allows you to do that — it's pretty fun! After your workout, the whirlpool will set you up for an excellent night’s sleep.

Sun Deck

The eighth-floor sun deck is the perfect oasis in the summer, with lounge chairs, four BBQs, and seating areas. Bring your wine down and enjoy!

Massage Room

Ready to relax? Visit Emilio for a massage in the designated massage room on the eighth floor.

Hair Salon

When it’s time for a trim, visit the building’s hair salon! You might run into my Great Uncle — who, yes, also lives here — while he’s getting his bi-monthly cut.

The Restaurant

The private restaurant on the tenth floor not only serves up great meals, but also room service! What a luxury.

The Lounge & Party Room

Our licensed lounge is a private space for residents to watch the big game, enjoy a drink, or take part in the many social events — including kid’s movie nights! You can also book it (and the party room) for your own events.

The Parcel Room

Diane is our very own parcel guru and has been running the ground floor parcel room as long as I can remember. You never have to worry about missing packages with her!

Top-Tier Security

Unlike most buildings, our security team isn’t hired out from a third-party company. In fact, they have all been here longer than I have! As such, never once have we had any major issues with safety.

Visitor Parking? No Problem!

There’s always — and I mean always — visitor parking for your guests! It brings so much peace of mind, whether you’re having company over for an afternoon or a week. The temporary parking out front makes quick drop-offs incredibly easy, too. If you’re bringing in a big shopping haul, one of the friendly doormen is sure to help you load up a cart!

Our Condo Board

Our condo board is made up of long-time residents who are passionate about our home and our community within it. Board members are voted in (by all of us) and serve a three-year term before coming up for re-election, which means that there is indeed opportunity for new residents to be involved on the board level. Aside from that, we have various committees that one could join here at NOYQ where you could have a positive influence, should you desire!

Rentals & Policies

Overall, we have a high percentage of owners here who take great pride in our community. We have quite a number of residents who own two units in the building: one to live in, and one to rent out. The building does not allow Airbnbs or any rentals shorter than three months, and since the suites are high-value, we usually attract higher quality tenants. There’s also a strict no-pets policy — sorry, furry friends!
